Accumulating Necessary Data In most situations, there may be several routes to achieving an outcome; it is therefore essential to gather as much pertinent information as possible and carefully consider each potential approach.
All alternatives must be plausible to serve as functional distractors; otherwise, they may be chosen by students who don’t achieve their learning outcomes.

Leaders need to reevaluate their approach to flexibility. Too often, leaders use it as an ad hoc work-life accommodation that only applies when needed and for certain individuals; or else they adopt a form of boundaryless working that assumes everyone is available 24/7 – both approaches may have unintended repercussions.
Leaders must develop written frameworks for decision-making about flexible work and communicate them to all employees. Supervisors should have clear instructions for managing flexible employees as well as structures for self-scheduling, shift swapping and other employee empowerment practices. Furthermore, leaders must create a culture of transparency which ensures fairness and equitable access to flexibility while rewarding high performance consistently.
Managers should encourage team members to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of particular flexible work arrangements, both positive and negative, to set realistic expectations while simultaneously providing a forum for identifying and resolving challenges related to them. Furthermore, discussing this matter aloud allows managers to spend more time supporting team success rather than burdening individual supervisors individually.
Leaders should make it clear that every job deserves some flexibility, and that this shouldn’t be seen as a scarce or privileged resource. For instance, frontline jobs that feature long hours and high burnout rates could benefit greatly from more flexible schedules through increased productivity, greater retention of employees, reduced absences and improved health outcomes – something particularly significant when considering that women, people of color and immigrants tend to be underrepresented in service industries.

Honesty is a virtue that can be developed in numerous ways. Children often learn the value of honesty through stories such as The Boy Who Cried Wolf or worksheets designed specifically to teach school-age kids the value of it in a context relevant to them.
Honesty – Why, How and What worksheet is designed to help children understand honesty as more than simply not lying; rather it also encourages them to consider the impact that dishonesty has on others as well as on themselves.
Another fantastic activity to help children consider honesty is having them draw a picture of their ideal honest person. This exercise can be highly informative as each child’s drawing will represent his or her personal values and ideas about integrity – not to mention opening conversations about why honesty matters among others!
Some individuals place great value on honesty and strive to always be completely transparent when engaging with others, which is known as radical honesty. This practice can help enhance relationships with friends, family and intimate partners. On the other hand, some may lean closer towards dishonesty than radical honesty, with less trust placed in others and feeling that sometimes lying is better (Utilitarian/Ethical Egoist).
An effective way of measuring an individual’s sense of honesty can be assessed using the Trust in People Scale from the Positive Psychology Toolkit. Responses from this scale’s questions can then be combined and scored as an overall assessment of trust between people.
