Which Pages on Your Website Are Being Indexed by Google?

Google strives to index pages that can be found by search engine users, although not every webpage on a website will get indexed; there may be various reasons for this, such as not being important enough or having duplicate content, which will lower its ranking on search engine result pages (SERPS). Canonical tags also prevent certain pages from being indexed; when set up with canonical tags, they tell crawlers whether a URL should be taken as the preferred version. Thus, Google won’t store or index that version either way.
GSC provides an Indexed Pages report, which allows you to quickly ascertain which of your blog pages have been indexed by searching your most frequently searched keywords and phrases. If a particular phrase generates many impressions but few clicks, perhaps it’s time for you to consider upgrading its content on that page.
Once you’ve identified your most frequently searched keyword phrases, click each of them to gain more insight into their performance on SERPs. The Query tab offers an overall assessment for that query over a selected time period, while individual reports provide more detailed data such as impressions made, average SERP position, and click-through rate (CTR).
Please keep a few things in mind when using this tool:
First of all, new pages take time to be indexed by Google – usually hours, days, or even weeks – so for most websites, it may be faster and more beneficial to focus on improving existing content rather than creating entirely new ones.
Second, Google places limits on how many pages can be indexed; this is due to resources being spent recrawling all available pages. As your website grows, limiting indexable pages could help it crawl and rank other pages more rapidly.
